BPC Blue Anaerobic is an analytical tool for conducting biodegradability studies under anaerobic conditions. Anaerobic biodegradability analysis is based on biogas (CH4 + CO2) measurements in different types of environments, such as aqueous medium, controlled slurry digestion system or high solid digestion conditions. In these cases, the biodegradation rate of polymers is measured through carbon dioxide and methane evolved, more specifically the conversion percentage of carbon from the polymer sample to carbon in the gaseous form.
The DUO configuration is designed to increase the testing capacity for double gas measurements.

The DUO configuration is designed to increase the testing capacity for double gas measurements. This configuration consists of a BPC Core Unit (18 channels), where users can measure the total gas (e.g., CH4 + CO2) and a gas component (e.g., CH4) from 9 samples simultaneously.
