The Automatic Methane Potential Test System (AMPTS®) III is the well-established analytical system for conducting anaerobic batch fermentation tests. This includes:
- biochemical methane potential (BMP) tests
- biogas production (based on methane and carbon dioxide composition)
- specific methanogenic activity (SMA) assays
- residual gas potential (RGP) analyses
This version is composed of 18 1L glass reactors and a second BPC Core measurement unit to allow for total and single gas measurement.

This version is composed of 18 1L glass reactors and a second BPC Core measurement unit to allow for total and single gas measurement.
