Dr. Jing Liu, inventor and co-founder of BPC Instruments, has been a key figure since its founding in 2005. He served as CTO and Board member before becoming CEO in 2014, leading the company into a growth phase.

An associate professor at Lund University, Jing has over 20 years of experience in environmental biotechnology, biogas optimisation, and instrumentation. His career spans academic research, product development, and business strategy, with significant achievements in the biogas and bioanalysis fields.

Prof. Gustaf Olsson, professor emeritus at Lund University, Sweden, is a co-founder of Bioprocess Control (now BPC Instruments) and has served as chairman of the board since 2017.
With a research career spanning decades, his work has focused on control and automation in water systems, energy, and industrial processes, with recent emphasis on the climate-water-energy-food nexus. He has been a guest professor at institutions worldwide, including Chalmers University, the Technical University of Malaysia, and Tsinghua University, and holds numerous honours, including an Honorary Doctorate from UTM and an IWA Publication Award.

Kristofer Cook, co-founder of Bioprocess Control (renamed BPC Instruments in 2020), served as CEO from 2006 to 2009. He holds an M.Sc. from LTH, Sweden, and an M.B.A. from Solvay Business School, Belgium. Over the past 15 years, Kristofer has co-founded several award-winning companies in biotechnology, cleantech, and food-tech, including Bioextrax, Cyclicor, and Carbiotix, where he currently serves as CBDO and Chairman.

He currently serves as R&D Director at Axis Communications, where he leads an organization of over 300 engineers developing advanced hardware and software solutions for the global surveillance market.
With over 30 years of experience from leadership roles at Ericsson and Axis Communications, Johan brings extensive expertise in managing multi-national technical environments, scaling R&D operations, and implementing AI-driven strategies. His board experience includes a previous assignment at the Swedish cleantech company NFO Drives AB, where he played a role in scaling up their R&D operations and defining new strategies for sales and marketing.
