Traditionally the main application area of Bioprocess Control’s instruments was determination of methane potential of organic substrates. We see a growing trend of publications focused, besides biogas sector, on new application areas such as anaerobic biodegradability of bioplastic packaging materials, bioethanol production, dark fermentation for biohydrogen production, or in-vitro gas production for feed evaluation.
In order to evaluate the type of laboratory tests our customers are performing using our innovative instruments, a search for new publications stating the use of Bioprocess Control’s product portfolio has been performed. A search in Google scholar threw over 600 hits including data generated by Bioprocess Control’s instruments.

The rapid growth in publications in the most recent years (see the graph below) suggest the increasing interest in using the Bioprocess Control’s instrumentation in a wide range of applications.
